Let's start from the beginning.


What is Reiki?


Reiki is a non-invasive, energy healing technique which promotes relaxation and the body's natural ability to heal itself.

It is frequently confused as a type of massage or acupuncture, yet it is neither! Reiki energy, also known as (Qi, Ki or Prana) is transferred through the practitioner to the client thorough touch or near touch, no other tools are necessary.

So, how do you incorporate it into your fitness routine?

It is easier than you think!


How do you stay healthy?

Many of us spend a lot of time focusing on our health. We nail down the perfect exercise routine to fit our schedules. Some of us count macros, others focus on healthy eating in other ways.

A lot of time is spent in the gym lifting weights, outside sweating through an early morning cardio routine or off to the yoga studio for an hour of stretching, balance and breathing exercises. But what about the rest of it? YES! There is MORE.

Do you remember to give your body the rest it needs to recuperate?


Do you allow yourself enough time to decompress after a long week at work, in the gym and well just life?

It is likely that you don't.


Restless night’s sleep, staying up too late binge watching shows on Netflix (I am guilty here - I have found a favorite and cannot get enough!) or catching up with family and friends are all reasons why we do not get the rest our bodies need.

Often, we need more rest than we get, or even that we think we need.

Winding down can be hard. Shutting off your mind at bedtime isn't always easy and that alarm clock can go off WAY too EARLY!

It is important to make the most of your down time. Not so easy though, is it?

Past experiences leave lingering memories, aches and pains catch up to us throughout the day and, despite our best efforts, thoughts creep in just when we are about to sleep! All of this adds up to an exhaustion we may not even be entirely conscious of.


Make your health routine a holistic approach. Be proactive, not reactive when it comes to your health.

That's where Reiki comes in.

Again, Reiki promotes relaxation and the body's natural ability to heal itself. This Reiki energy flows to where YOU need it most. Exactly what we want after a grueling workout!

Reiki is an individual experience and works without our conscious efforts, maintaining that it will help us where it is most beneficial. It truly is a wonderful thing, Reiki energy. Guiding us into a restful night’s sleep when our minds are wandering, allowing our bodies to heal and rest naturally and bringing to our attention areas that we otherwise wouldn't have known to focus on.
